    To make the most of your time at college, you want to get involved with student groups early and often. Student involvement has been proven to promote success and personal growth. Find your community outside the classroom. Student organizations participation is open to all FIU students.

    It's not just a statement at FIU. From our student groups to our Centers for Student Engagement, Office of Veteran & Military Affairs, First-Generation Initiatives, Disability Resource Center, and more, we are working together to make FIU reflect the vibrant cultural background of our city, Miami. There are so many ways to empower yourself and find your sense of belonging among our campus community.

    Leadership takes grit, it takes collaboration and most importantly it takes experience. Build that experience from day one by finding student leadership opportunities. There's so many at FIU and they can open up world of success, scholarship and growth.

Accessibility at FIU

At the Disability Resource Center (DRC), you'll find your accessibility advocate. Both on-campus and fully online students with disabilities can call, video chat or stop by the center for accommodation information, scholarships, and more.
