Bio
Alexa Urra is the Associate Director of Success Courses of Academic Support Services for FIU’s Division of Student Affairs. She manages the University Student Success courses, including: First Year Experience, Strategies for Success, Discover Your Major, Major & Career Exploration, and the Post-Graduation course. Alexa earned her Master’s in Adult Education and Human Resource Management at Florida International University and she is also a University of Miami alumni, where she graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Communication and Public Relations. Alexa has a passion for higher education, teaching, and helping students succeed from enrollment through graduation.
